1. Definitions
Member / Membership
An individual with an active monthly Direct Debit payment for a goPhysio Pilates membership.
Membership Agreement
These Terms and Conditions together with any applicable House Rules and studio guidance.
Studio
The goPhysio Studio, 11 Bournemouth Road, Chandlers Ford, SO53 3DA, and any additional locations where Pilates services are delivered.
2. Acceptance of Membership
By starting membership, members agree to the minimum term and notice period outlined in these Terms.
Membership acceptance is at the discretion of goPhysio Ltd.
Membership is personal and non-transferable.
Members must be aged 16 or over. Members under 18 must have appropriate consent from a parent or guardian.
Members must complete a medical declaration prior to participation and inform goPhysio of any changes to their health.
Where required, members must attend an initial 1-to-1 session before joining classes.
Members agree to follow all instructor guidance and House Rules.
3. Membership Payments and Minimum Term
Membership payments are made monthly in advance via Direct Debit (GoCardless or equivalent provider).
Pilates memberships have a minimum term of three (3) months from the start date.
After the minimum term, membership continues on a rolling monthly basis until cancelled.
Members are responsible for ensuring payments remain active.
Membership fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
goPhysio Ltd reserves the right to change membership pricing with reasonable notice.
Failure to maintain payment may result in suspension of membership and loss of class access.
4. Class Booking and Attendance
Membership secures a regular class place appropriate to the membership type.
Classes must be booked in advance where required.
Members should provide at least 6 hours notice if unable to attend.
goPhysio may release unused spaces where attendance is not confirmed.
5. Cancellations and Make-Up Classes
If a member cannot attend a class, notice should be provided.
Make-up classes may be offered where availability allows.
To qualify for a make-up class, a minimum of 6 hours’ notice is required for a regular class absence.
Make-up classes are subject to availability and must be used within the stated timeframe. Unless otherwise stated, make-up classes expire at the end of each calendar month.
Failure to attend a booked make-up class without notice will result in the class being treated as used.
6. Membership Changes, Pauses and Termination
Members may request to pause, change or cancel membership.
Cancellation requires one (1) month’s notice prior to the next billing date.
If cancellation is requested during the minimum term, payments remain due until the minimum term is completed and the notice period has been served.
Members may cancel by cancelling their Direct Debit and notifying goPhysio.
goPhysio may suspend or terminate membership where:
- Behaviour impacts the safety or experience of others
- Payments are not maintained
- Terms are breached
- Participation is not clinically appropriate
7. Class Schedule and Instructors
Class schedules, instructors, class formats and locations may change.
Classes may be cancelled due to illness, operational needs or unforeseen circumstances. Where possible, notice will be provided and suitable alternatives offered.
8. House Rules and Studio Use
Members must follow studio guidance relating to safety, hygiene and equipment use. Members must:
- Wear appropriate clothing
- Follow instructor instructions
- Use equipment as directed
No food or glass containers are permitted in the studio (water permitted).
Personal belongings are brought at the member’s own risk.
9. Refunds and Transfers
Membership is non-transferable.
Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
Extenuating circumstances may be considered at goPhysio’s discretion.
10. Health and Safety
Members participate at their own risk and must inform instructors of injuries, medical conditions or pregnancy.
goPhysio reserves the right to restrict participation where exercise may not be appropriate.
11. Limitation of Liability
Participation in exercise carries inherent risk.
goPhysio Ltd is not liable for injury, loss or damage to personal property except where required by law.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for negligence resulting in death or personal injury.
12. Personal Information and Data Protection
Personal information is processed in accordance with goPhysio’s Privacy Policy.
Members must keep contact details up to date.
CCTV may be used for safety and security.
13. Variation of Terms
goPhysio Ltd may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The latest version will be available on request or via the website.
14. Force Majeure
goPhysio is not responsible for delays or inability to deliver services due to events outside reasonable control.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by English law and subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
