Fiona Moir

Co-founder of goPhysio & Non-Clinical Director

I trained at UWE Bristol and qualified as a physiotherapist in 1997, the same year I met Paul, my fellow goPhysio founder. I started my physiotherapy career in the NHS, working at Queen’s Medical Centre, Nottingham and Royal Hampshire County Hospital, Winchester, before moving into private practice and co-founding goPhysio in Chandler’s Ford.

Although I no longer work clinically day to day, my physiotherapy background still shapes everything I do. I love being able to combine clinical experience, business leadership and a deep understanding of patient care to oversee and develop what happens across goPhysio. My role is focused on making sure we consistently provide the best service and care that genuinely makes a difference to our local community, within a friendly, warm & welcoming environment.

Alongside my role at goPhysio, I am also a Coaching Delivery Consultant and Strategic Coach at Thrive, supporting other health and wellness business owners to build stronger, more sustainable businesses.

Setting up and growing goPhysio, while raising a family, has meant my career has evolved from hands-on physiotherapy into leadership, strategy and business development. I feel very lucky to still use my clinical background every day, but now in a way that helps shape the bigger picture — from patient experience and team development to service quality, innovation, community impact and the long-term direction of the clinic.

I am, and always have been, passionate about creating a healthcare service that is highly regarded and delivers only the best. For me, goPhysio has never been just about appointments. It is about helping people feel reassured, confident and able to get back to the things that matter to them. Whether someone comes to us for physiotherapy, sports injury support, Clinical Pilates, Reformer Pilates or exercise rehabilitation, I want them to know they are in safe, capable and caring hands.

I set high standards for our team, systems, communication and service, because I believe our local community deserves healthcare that feels personal, professional and trustworthy. I love seeing the team develop, patients succeed and goPhysio continue to evolve while staying true to the values it was built on.

Outside of work, I try to practise what I preach. I love long dog walks with our lively spaniel Edie, Pilates, going to the gym, yoga, swimming and staying active in ways that fit around real life. With three grown-up children, life is still far from dull, and we love travelling, eating out and enjoying day trips whenever we can.
