Soft Tissue Therapist

I graduated from the University of Winchester in 2025 with a BSc (Hons) Sports Therapy. Alongside my work at goPhysio, I am also part of the team at Winchester City Football Club as a Sports Therapist, and I am continuing my studies at the University of Winchester with an MSc in Strength and Conditioning with Rehabilitation.

At goPhysio, I help people who are struggling with muscle tightness, soreness, tension or discomfort that is affecting everyday life, work, exercise or sport. I particularly enjoy working with footballers, women, people recovering from injury and anyone who wants to feel more comfortable, mobile and confident in their body.

My appointments are hands-on, supportive and focused on you as an individual. Weโ€™ll talk through what has been bothering you, why you have decided to seek help, and what you would like to improve. I will often assess your movement before treatment and then re-test afterwards, so we can monitor any changes and help you understand how your body is responding.

My role is to help reduce muscle tension, support recovery and help you feel more comfortable moving again. Treatment may include sports massage, hands-on soft tissue techniques, movement assessment and practical guidance to support your recovery between sessions.

I believe understanding your own recovery is really important. I take time to listen properly, understand what might be contributing to your symptoms and look beyond just the sore area. This might include considering sport, work, training, lifestyle, stress, posture, or anything else that may be affecting how your body feels and moves.

I have experience supporting people with common issues such as upper back tightness from long working hours at a desk, calf tightness from running, and general muscle soreness from sport, exercise or day-to-day life. Patients often tell me they feel they can move more freely after treatment, with reduced pain, tension and stiffness.

My wider experience includes working in a care home as a carer, which made me realise how much I enjoy meeting, chatting with and supporting lots of different people. I bring that same friendly, approachable and caring attitude into my work at goPhysio.

Outside of work and studying, youโ€™ll most likely find me at a concert or out exploring on long walks with my dogs. I also love football and used to compete nationally in trampolining, so you could say Iโ€™ve always been passionate about movement.
