I qualified from Southampton Solent University in 2024 with a BSc Sports Therapy. I am a member of The Society of Sports Therapists and work as a Sports Therapist and Sports Massage Therapist at goPhysio, helping people reduce muscle tension, improve movement and recover from training, sport, gym sessions or injury through hands-on soft tissue treatment and sports massage.
I have a particular interest in running injuries, football-related injuries, lower-limb problems, neck pain, upper back tightness, low back pain, muscle soreness and overload injuries. I especially enjoy working with runners, active people, footballers and people over 50 who want to stay mobile, strong and confident.
My appointments are tailored, practical and collaborative. We start with a conversation about your symptoms, activity levels, background and goals, then look at how you move with range-of-motion and movement screening. Treatment may include sports massage, deep tissue techniques, trigger point work, stretching and soft tissue techniques to help reduce tightness, improve movement and support recovery.
What I enjoy most is helping people feel listened to, understood and confident in their progress. Many people come in with persistent pain or tightness and worry it will not improve because they have had it for a long time. Others are concerned that their injury is more serious than it actually is. A big part of my role is helping people understand what may be going on, reduce fear and show them that with the right approach, most issues can improve more than they expect.
I have a particular clinical interest in lower-limb injuries, especially those linked to running and football. This comes from my own involvement in both sports, which gives me a first-hand understanding of the demands they place on the body. It also helps me connect with patients more effectively and tailor treatment to what really matters to them, whether that is getting back to running, returning to football, training in the gym or simply moving more comfortably day to day.
Alongside sports therapy and massage, I have completed Intermediate Trauma Medical Management in Football and football-specific first aid training. I also have experience in academy football and supporting people around pre and post-operative rehabilitation.
At goPhysio, treatment may include soft tissue therapy, stretching, movement advice, hands-on techniques and support alongside wider exercise rehabilitation where appropriate. I believe that empowering people and really understanding their goals leads to more effective treatment and better recovery. When people feel listened to and involved in their treatment, they are more confident, consistent and able to make meaningful progress.
Patients often describe my approach as professional, friendly and attentive, and say they appreciate that I take time to listen.
Outside of work, I enjoy running and have completed several half marathons. I’m currently training for the Barcelona Half Marathon next year. I also love football – both playing and watching.

I had a really good visit to GoPhysio. I have had sciatica for two months and it wasn't showing any signs of improvement. Sophie gave me a thorough assessment and then provided acupuncture and ultra sound. After one visit my sciatica has almost gone. I am really pleased.Posted on Google kay luffmanTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Everyone at go physio is so helpful & friendly. I have been attending goPhysio for about two years. As a company they are very professional and provide a very good level of service to include efficiency and courtesy and are always consistent in their approach. This very much includes the admin /reception team whom are the first people you make contact with. My Physio has excellent knowledge and has assisted me with sound advice and ongoing exercise regimes which are achievable and realistic. This has supported me well in between appointments. Although always busy I am normally able to see Roz at a mutually convenient time. Thank you to all the team
