World Heath Day is a chance to focus on and give special attention to a health problem or issue and highlight a particular theme. This year, they are focusing on Health For All.

Health For All envisions that all people have good health for a fulfilling life in a peaceful, prosperous, and sustainable world.

To make health for all a reality, we need: individuals and communities who have access to high quality health services so that they can take care of their own health and that of their families; skilled health workers providing quality, people-centred care; and policy-makers committed to investing in universal health coverage.

As Physiotherapists, Sports and Exercises specialists, Soft Tissue therapists and Pilates instructors, our aim here at goPhysio is to look after YOU.

Our core values as a clinic encompasses patient centred care and putting your aims and objectives at the forefront of your recovery. The goPhysio Wayย is our unique approach to helping you get back to doing what you enjoy and performing at your physical best. Our team have come up with a few top tips for keeping healthy and active:

Hannah โ€“ โ€œKeep a consistent routine of healthy habitsโ€

Roz โ€“ โ€œMake the most of small amounts of time – even a 10minute walk makes a difference to physical and mental healthโ€

Sheena โ€“ โ€œGetting outside as soon as possible – whether that’s walking the dog earlier, or sitting outside in the garden with a coffee. The sunshine makes this even better!โ€

Kim โ€“ โ€œModeration; try not to do anything in excessโ€

Katie โ€“ โ€œMake the time to look after you, and stick to it. Donโ€™t make excuses not to invest in yourself.โ€

Jade โ€“ โ€œBuild consistent habits, and remember how it makes you feel to live a unhealthy lifestyle compared to an unhealthy one.โ€

Beverley โ€“ โ€œGo for a daily walk, for movement and to soak in some vitamin Dโ€

Fiona โ€“ โ€œHave realistic expectations of yourself; if you expect too much all the time this puts an unachievable pressure on yourself, which has a negative impact.โ€œ

Francesca – โ€œBuild a realistic routine of exercise or activities that you enjoy and make you happy!”
