How does the goPhysio Way help you?

We want to work with people who really value their health and wellbeing. People who appreciate there isn’t a ‘magic wand’ and that recovery from pain or an injury can take time and investment.

To help with your recovery, we’ve split this into 3 phases. Each phase is designed to support you in understanding your body better, overcoming your issue, building your confidence, and empowering you to prevent risk of re-injury in the future or help you manage a long-standing condition.

The number of appointments and timescale can vary, but we work with you to create the best long-term solution, allowing you to live a positive, active, healthy life, free from pain or injury.

  1. RESOLVE If you’ve got pain or injury, this will impact on your quality of life. You may not be able to work or take part in the things you enjoy. So, in this initial phase we listen to you, aim to understand your exact issue and then work with you to stop making it worse and start making it better. This phase often involves regular, ‘hands on’ treatments, advice, modifying your activity and some exercises to do at home. The aim at this phase is to help ease your pain and reassure you.
  2. REBUILD Once we’ve got on top of your pain and you are starting to make good progress towards your goal, we start building on your recovery. This phase is crucial in creating the best long term solution. We can address underlying issues and help rebuild you physically, whether that be strength, balance, flexibility, movement control or all of the above! We have a range of ways to support you in this phase, such as exercise rehab, 1-2-1 Pilates. Either as discounted packages or fully flexible PAYG. This phase can often be overlooked, but we want to make sure you are stronger and more resilient so that your injury is less likely to return again.
  3. EMPOWER This is the longer term investment. Once you realise how great your body is and can feel, you may want to maintain these benefits with longer term support. Whether that’s a regular massage, taking part in Pilates, a check up or a Positive Steps Class – we will continue to support you.

The alternative can be frustrating, confusing and limits your life. From ‘yo yo’ing’ in and out of injury, – going from Google, to being told to “just wait and see, it should get better” by your GP to stopping running and then just getting straight back to it again, only to be in pain within weeks.

So, don’t just ‘cross your fingers’, and take the ‘wait and see’ approach – goPhysio will help add life to your years.

I had a really good visit to GoPhysio. I have had sciatica for two months and it wasn't showing any signs of improvement. Sophie gave me a thorough assessment and then provided acupuncture and ultra sound. After one visit my sciatica has almost gone. I am really pleased.

I have been attending goPhysio for about two years. As a company they are very professional and provide a very good level of service to include efficiency and courtesy and are always consistent in their approach. This very much includes the admin /reception team whom are the first people you make contact with. My Physio has excellent knowledge and has assisted me with sound advice and ongoing exercise regimes which are achievable and realistic. This has supported me well in between appointments. Although always busy I am normally able to see Roz at a mutually convenient time. Thank you to all the team
