25 Hours. Over 100 People. One Incredible Community.
What an incredible 25 hours.
To celebrate 25 years of goPhysio, we set ourselves a challenge: 25 hours of continuous movement, Pilates, energy, laughter and community spirit — all to raise money for local charities and causes close to our hearts.
And what a response.
Across the event, 102 people attended, joining us in the studio and online for classes throughout the day, evening, overnight and into the following afternoon. Together, through class donations, raffle support and generous contributions, we raised almost £2,000.
This money will support local charities and community causes, including Mountbatten Hampshire, which provides hospice care and support for people with life-limiting illnesses and their families; OpenSight, which supports people living with, or at risk of, sight loss across Hampshire; Baby Necessities, which provides essential baby items to local families in need; Shepherds Down School, supporting primary-aged children with complex learning needs; and local defibrillator maintenance, helping keep vital emergency equipment available for our community.
A very special thank you goes to 2 of our team members, Lottie and Sophie, who delivered an amazing 13 hours of overnight classes between them. From late-night Pilates to early morning movement, they kept the energy going when most people were fast asleep! The whole team really pulled together – a late night delivery of Red Bull & ice cream from Ashan, a special Celebration banner from Roz, home baking from Eloise’s mum…..to name a few.
We are also hugely grateful to everyone who attended, donated, bought raffle tickets, shared our event and cheered us on. Thank you as well to the generous local businesses who donated raffle prizes or sponsored a class, including Ahmad Tea, Holiday Inn Southampton-Eastleigh, Audi Southampton and Knight Goodhead Chartered Accountants.
Finally, a huge thank you to our whole goPhysio team. Events like this only happen because people give their time, energy and enthusiasm — and our team did exactly that.
Here’s some of our favourite photos from the 25 Hours of Movement – thank you to everyone who helped us mark this milestone in such a special way.
Here’s to movement, community and adding life to your years.
