Patient Care Team

I joined goPhysio in June 2026, bringing with me a background in healthcare research and front desk volunteering. I also volunteer on the front desk at a monthly modern jive freestyle, so I’m used to welcoming people, answering questions and helping create a friendly first impression.

At goPhysio, I enjoy being part of the Patient Services team and helping people feel welcome when they come into the clinic. My ideal day involves greeting patients, answering telephone enquiries and having time to get to know people.

For me, a positive shift is one where I’ve helped sort out a problem for someone, answered a question clearly or even just made someone smile. I think calmness, friendliness, organisation and a welcoming approach are really important in reception and administration, especially when people may be arriving in pain, feeling unsure or needing help finding the right appointment.

I believe keeping active, eating well and making the most of every day are important parts of Adding Life To Your Years. Even though my role is not clinical, I know that helping people feel welcomed, listened to and supported is an important part of their overall experience at goPhysio.

The reception team are often the first people patients speak to, so the way we communicate can help set the tone for their whole visit. A calm, friendly and organised approach can make a real difference, whether someone is booking their first physiotherapy appointment, asking about Pilates or arriving for treatment.

Outside of work, I love dancing modern jive and demonstrate at Romsey Town Hall every Wednesday. I enjoy being part of a community where people come together, stay active and have fun through movement.

Fun fact — I have volunteered for a children’s charity as a litter picker at Glastonbury Festival.
