I joined goPhysio in September 2025, bringing with me many years of reception and patient-facing experience. I have previously worked as a GP receptionist, an Outpatients Receptionist at Nuffield Hospital and a receptionist at another physiotherapy practice.
These roles gave me valuable experience in managing busy reception areas, handling appointments, supporting patients and providing excellent customer service in a calm, professional and compassionate way. At goPhysio, I enjoy helping patients in person, by phone and by email, making sure their enquiries are dealt with efficiently and that they feel welcome and supported.
My ideal day is one where Iโm busy and engaged throughout my shift, with a steady flow of work and the clinic feeling organised, calm and prepared. I enjoy being productive, staying on top of admin tasks and helping make sure everything is ready for upcoming clinics, from appointments and room availability to payments and the reception environment.
Although I could choose to retire, I enjoy keeping my mind active and interacting with people, and my role at goPhysio gives me a real sense of purpose. I also regularly attend Pilates classes at goPhysio, which motivate me to stay active and maintain my mobility.
Having experienced the benefits of treatment and exercise myself, I appreciate the positive impact that physiotherapy, Pilates and movement can have on peopleโs quality of life. To me, Adding Life To Your Years is about staying active, maintaining independence and continuing to do the things that matter.
I think the key attributes for reception and administration are multitasking, accuracy, warmth and attention to detail. It is important to give each task your full attention, whether managing appointments, checking room availability, processing payments or welcoming someone into the clinic. I also believe in using initiative, thinking ahead and spotting potential issues before they become problems.
When I was five, I was hit by a car and sustained a neck injury. I am also slightly hypermobile and have osteoarthritis. Thanks to treatment over the years, as and when needed, Iโve been able to stay active, maintain my mobility and keep pain well managed. These experiences help me understand the challenges patients may face and the difference the right support can make.
Outside of work, I enjoy walking, gardening and attending goPhysio Pilates classes.
Fun fact โ people are always surprised when I tell them I was born in a cemetery. Itโs certainly an unusual conversation starter.

I had a really good visit to GoPhysio. I have had sciatica for two months and it wasn't showing any signs of improvement. Sophie gave me a thorough assessment and then provided acupuncture and ultra sound. After one visit my sciatica has almost gone. I am really pleased.Posted on Google![]()

I have been attending goPhysio for about two years. As a company they are very professional and provide a very good level of service to include efficiency and courtesy and are always consistent in their approach. This very much includes the admin /reception team whom are the first people you make contact with. My Physio has excellent knowledge and has assisted me with sound advice and ongoing exercise regimes which are achievable and realistic. This has supported me well in between appointments. Although always busy I am normally able to see Roz at a mutually convenient time. Thank you to all the team
