Physiotherapist

I qualified from Birmingham Newman University in 2026 with a BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy. I first joined goPhysio as a student physiotherapist during my final year, and Iโ€™m delighted to now be part of the team as a qualified physiotherapist. I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. At goPhysio, I help people understand what may be contributing to their pain, rebuild confidence in movement and get back to doing the things they enjoy.

My areas of interest include Achilles tendinopathy, patellofemoral pain, low back pain, plantar fasciitis, shin splints, greater trochanteric pain syndrome and gluteal tendinopathy. I particularly enjoy helping people with running injuries, overuse injuries, gym-related problems and return-to-running goals.

My approach is warm, positive and collaborative. Iโ€™ll take time to understand your symptoms, lifestyle, goals and what matters most to you, then work with you to create a management plan that fits your life. My aim is to help you feel informed, reassured and confident about moving forward.

I believe physiotherapy should help you feel empowered, not overwhelmed. Pain can affect your movement, confidence, mood and day-to-day life, so I look at the whole picture rather than just the sore area. My role is to help you understand what is happening, what your body needs and how we can gradually get you back to what you love.

I have a particular interest in return-to-running rehabilitation, especially creating a plan that is specific to each person rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. I also enjoy supporting people over 60 with functional rehabilitation, helping to improve mobility, reduce falls risk and build confidence with everyday movement.

I understand that many people come to physiotherapy feeling worried about movement. Some are scared they might cause more damage, which is a very natural response to pain. Often, pain is the bodyโ€™s way of communicating that an area needs some care, reassurance and the right amount of movement rather than complete avoidance.

At goPhysio, treatment may include hands-on physiotherapy, movement advice, strengthening, return-to-running planning and progressive exercise rehabilitation. I bring a positive and enthusiastic outlook to rehabilitation and want every patient to feel welcomed, listened to and supported.

My wider experience includes working with military populations, and I also hold a Level 2 Swimming Instructor qualification. This has helped shape my interest in movement, confidence, communication and helping people work towards meaningful goals.

Outside of work, I enjoy bodybuilding and gym-based training, running, hiking with my dogs and swimming.

Something that may surprise you about me – Iโ€™m on the front cover of a driving theory book!
