I joined goPhysio in June 2026, bringing with me six years of nursing experience, including time working in a pre-assessment role. This gave me valuable experience in supporting patients, gathering information, communicating clearly and helping people feel informed and reassured during their healthcare journey.
Although my previous roles were not reception-based, they gave me a strong foundation in customer service, empathy, organisation and attention to detail. I understand how important it is for patients to feel listened to from their very first interaction, especially when they may be in pain, uncertain or unsure what help they need.
At goPhysio, I support patients by helping with enquiries, bookings, emails, calls, new assessments, follow-up appointments and patient tracking. I also enjoy using my healthcare background to help match patients with the most appropriate clinician for their needs, whether they are looking for physiotherapy, sports massage, Clinical Pilates or another goPhysio service.
One of the things I enjoy most about my role is that no two days are the same. My ideal day is busy, productive and varied, with the admin team working well together, clear communication across the clinic and patients feeling supported from their first point of contact.
When I finish a shift, I feel most positive when I know I’ve helped someone take the next step towards addressing their pain or ongoing issue. That might mean getting them booked in quickly, answering their questions, helping with a follow-up appointment or simply providing a friendly and supportive conversation.
I try to live out goPhysio’s values by treating every patient with kindness, empathy and respect. To me, Adding Life To Your Years means helping people enjoy more years feeling able to move well and do the things they love. Although I’m not providing the treatment myself, I know that helping someone access the right care quickly and easily is an important part of that journey.
I’m happy to share that I have hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, which has meant many years of managing chronic pain, fatigue, migraines and joint instability. Having experienced physiotherapy and healthcare as a patient myself, I understand that every person’s experience of pain, treatment and recovery is different. I think this helps me communicate with compassion while still staying professional and supportive.
Outside of work, I’m rebuilding my local community after moving back to the area. I enjoy swimming, sea swimming when I can, and I’m hoping to get involved in local badminton and Pilates.
Fun fact — I love Africa and have been fortunate to spend time volunteering and travelling there, both medically and through my Christian faith.

I had a really good visit to GoPhysio. I have had sciatica for two months and it wasn't showing any signs of improvement. Sophie gave me a thorough assessment and then provided acupuncture and ultra sound. After one visit my sciatica has almost gone. I am really pleased.Posted on Google kay luffmanTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Everyone at go physio is so helpful & friendly. I have been attending goPhysio for about two years. As a company they are very professional and provide a very good level of service to include efficiency and courtesy and are always consistent in their approach. This very much includes the admin /reception team whom are the first people you make contact with. My Physio has excellent knowledge and has assisted me with sound advice and ongoing exercise regimes which are achievable and realistic. This has supported me well in between appointments. Although always busy I am normally able to see Roz at a mutually convenient time. Thank you to all the team
