Don’t just take our word for it, we have hundreds of happy patients willing to share their thoughts on their goPhysio experiences. You can read more reviews here.
This was my first experience of goPhysio, my visit prompted by reading many excellent reviews. I wasn’t disappointed. My reception was very friendly and the area totally clean and Covid compliant with distanced chairs, a screen and hand sanitiser which I was prompted to use. My lovely physiotherapist Kim greeted me promptly and was totally professional, eļ¬cient, knowledgable and helpful during my appointment. The speedy email follow up of an exercise programme, copy invoice and further appointment was similarly impressive.Ā I literally could not fault goPhysio and would highly recommend.

FAQs
How quickly can I get an appointment?
Iāve had NHS physio and it didnāt help, why should I try goPhysio?
Do I need to see my GP before booking to see a Physio?
Having to go to see your GP is a fairly traditional route. More often than not, for a mild to moderate musculoskeletal (MSK) injury, theyāll just advise you rest and take painkillers for 6 weeks anyway. To be referred to NHS physio, youāre likely to still need to see your GP first. However, there is even a move now in GP surgeries to have physiotherapists as the first point of contact for MSK injuries. Given that consultations for MSK conditions make up an estimated 30% of a GPās caseload, having physiotherapist take over this role is great!
So, if you have a sprain, back pain, sports injury, neck problems, postural issues, muscular or ligament injury ā anything affecting your muscles, bones, joints, you can come directly to see us. This saves you precious time and delays in your recovery so you can get back doing what you want to be doing.
Can I use private medical insurance to pay for my physiotherapy?
There have been many changes with the way health insurance companies cover physiotherapy recently. Subsequently, we require most patients to pay for their physiotherapy appointments up front per appointment.
We will email you a receipt which includes your Physiotherapist’s HCPC number, which you can then provide to your individual insurance company. Depending on your individual policy, you may be able to reclaim some or all of your fees. Policies and cover varies widely now and we are unable to accept any responsibility for the amount you may be able to reclaim from your insurance company, so we advise that you check your cover prior to booking.
We do have direct payment arrangements with AXA and AVIVA, so if you have private medical insurance with these 2 companies, please call us first so we can let you know our provider number, so you can come to see us for your physiotherapy.
