Meet Your Team, Hello Hugo!

As our team has grown over the last year or so, we thought it would be a great time to introduce you to the team that we have to help you, re-introducing the more familiar faces and welcoming the new ones!

Today we meet Physiotherapist, Hugo.                                                                                 

 

What are your clinical qualifications?                                                                                              

I studied Physiotherapy in my home country of Portugaul, qualifying in 2013.

What areas have you previously worked in?

I worked in Portugal initially for 3 years in a private physiotherapy clinic, working mainly with athletes from different sports such as Downhill, Motor cross, MMA and Football.

Do you have any special areas of interest in physiotherapy?

My speciality lies with helping people with sports and spinal injuries. 

I have a special interest in lower limb conditions and have completed extensive post graduate training in manual therapy, acupuncture and strength and conditioning.

I am qualified to use acupuncture and also a Level 3 APPI Pilates Instructor.

What you’re most proud of?

 Being able to adapt and thrive in England.

What’s the best thing about being part of the goPhysio team? 

The respect and support from all the team members.

 I played bass guitar in a heavy metal cover band for 10 years!
